How You Can Help
After working "in the system" for years Krissaundra “Krissi” Judd identified gaps in care & affordable housing provided to veterans by the Veteran’s Administration (VA). Finally, in 2014, since her concerns were still not addressed, her passion and concern left only one option: to do it herself. LP³ (Love, Pray Peace Project) was born, providing Passion & Compassion for Our Nation’s Heroes.
Since 2015, LP³ has helped many different veterans in various types of situations. In addition to assisting countless number of veteran and their families with claims assistance and debt management, we have volunteered at Stand Down, Vets Serving Vets, Feeding homeless veterans, clothing and blanket drives, Veterans Listening Post activities and many other initiatives throughout the city. We have spoken out to engage people of all persuasions to the growing needs of our heroes, many of whom have lost hope of regaining normal lives that we take for granted.
Many veterans are unfamiliar with the system, or the benefits they so richly deserve. Others have tried to get help, but have gotten lost in the system, or the process. Still others, after fighting for our lives in the most stressful situations, have finally given up their own lives in despair.
Today, with the help of people like yourself and supporting organizations, we are poised to make great strides in helping turn this tide, and regain our right to stand tall and be proud of the way we honor our service people back into our communities. With your donation, no matter how small, we are able to help make the difference in not only the lives of our heroes, but also the lives of their families, their friends, AND the entire community.
