After the Parade Ends?
“Thanks for Your Service” Is NOT ENOUGH!
We believe the debt we owe our heroes and their families extends well beyond a smile and a handshake. Do you agree?
Or do you find yourself in need, or seeking help for a loved one?
We'd love to hear from you, and help spread the Passion and Compassion we have for our nation's heroes.
The Love Pray Peace Project (LP³) aims to support homeless veterans and their families by providing compassionate, community-centered living environments that address essential needs such as food, clothing, and shelter. This year marked our fifth contract year as an Office of Homeless Services emergency shelter contractor, providing transitional housing to homeless veterans and older adults. We served 40 veterans in our original affordable housing program, successfully housed 48 homeless veterans, and supported 63 adults 60 years and older. Additionally, LP³ partnered with the Department of Housing and Urban Development to house 28 low-income families, including veterans.
In terms of organizational effectiveness, the project fostered stronger partnerships with other organizations and agencies, leading to better coordination of services and resources. We are preparing to reopen our previous Torresdale location to operate another affordable housing single-room occupancy program for veterans. Additionally, we are working with the Department of Corrections to secure funding for formerly incarcerated veterans and individuals, with this project set to begin in the spring of 2025.

What Do Our Communities Provide to Veterans and Their Families?
Here’s What Our Heroes Have To Say!
John is a true American hero, fighting for all Americans in not one, but three branches of our military services. But when it came time to fight for his rights to the services he deserved, as a disabled veteran, he found that he could not only use some help himself, but also help other veterans help themselves.
